For the most part, Cyrus has been quiet about her views on the situation, focusing instead on her music and other aspects of her career. People seem curious to hear where she stands on this, but she doesn’t want to reveal much.
There are some suspicions that the singer doesn’t actually have much say in these strange acts and she is being forced into doing them by her management, as she is a typical pop star without any control over her creative work.
That could very well be true, and there have certainly been similar incidents with other performers in the past. It would especially make sense in light of the fact that some reports have indicated a decreasing level of attention towards Cyrus lately, as less people are interested in her music.
If all of that is true, it could make some sense for Miley’s managers to decide to push her over the edge in terms of the extravagant nature of her acts if it means getting her name mentioned a few more times in the news. As we said above though, this is a really short-sighted strategy that only delivers results for a short period of time before it becomes ineffective, and the window for Cyrus might already be closing if that’s really what she’s doing.
