Miley Cyrus is Ironically All Covered Up in Her Halloween Costume for This Year!

“Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz” was independently released for free online streaming on SoundCloud last August 30 after she hosted this year’s MTV Video Music Awards. The album was a follow-up to 2013’s “Bangerz” and is a different breed of music compared to her previous ones.

In an interview, Cyrus says her latest album features styles of psychedelic, art pop, and space rock. The album contains 23 tracks and features vocals from Big Sean, whom she had worked with on “Bangerz,” Sara Barthel from Phantogram, and Ariel Pink.

Meanwhile, Miley has been very vocal about her charitable works. Her most recent socio-civic work is her support behind a petition calling for officials in the country to ban the practice of breeding lion cubs which will then be killed for sport.

Cyrus joins actresses Alicia Silverstone and Talulah Riley as supporters of the campaign. As per New Magazine, the petition has already garnered 179,033 signatures.

On her Instagram page, the “7 Things” singer shared a photo which informs the public about the campaign itself. A message, aimed for the South African Department of Environmental Affairs, is posted alongside the petition says that baby lion cubs are bred every year not for the purpose of being shot by tourists.
