It’s no secret that Nick Jonas has been jealous of Miley Cyrus which led to some falling out between them, and of course it wasn’t very easy for either of them to hide what was going on due to the fact that they’re very public persons with a lot of attention on them from all sides. But now, it looks like things might be looking up in their relations, as Nick Jonas has reportedly reached out to Cyrus on Twitter, leading many fans to believe that the two might soon have their own little reunion.
And at this point, they might want to give it a try anyway, if only for the friendship aspect – several years have passed since the two dated, and it seems like Nick Jonas might still have some feelings for Cyrus. He has been supportive of her, including during the period of her career where she was highly controversial and generated a lot of negative publicity with what many described as desperate attempts to remain in the spotlight.
Now, Jonas has expressed hopes that he would see Cyrus at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, claiming that he can’t wait to see her on the stage and he’s going to be as supportive of her as he can. So far, we can’t see any negativity between the two of them, and any problems they might have had in the past seem to be all but gone and forgotten.
It’s not hard for someone to express their public interest in another person nowadays, as long as both of them are active on social media – the fact that Nick Jonas is now following Miley Cyrus on Twitter, and that he’s been actively posting things targeted at her seems to be a clear indication that he is trying to reconnect, and he’s seemingly hopeful that she doesn’t harbor any resentment for him either.
However, for now at least, Cyrus has been quiet on the issue and she hasn’t sent any responses to Nick Jonas. Her only interaction with his attempts to contact her has been to retweet a tweet that he sent to her, which of course was the kind of small confirmation that many of their fans needed in order to start up the speculations about a possible reunion.
We can only imagine that there’s still some potential for a friendship between the two, as the original reason for their break-up was nothing negative or related to drama/scandals, it was simply the fact that they weren’t very compatible with each other, and were in different stages of their lives back then. This made it very difficult for them to continue dating, and they decided to just put an end to it.
And in the end, they’ve both moved on in one way or another, and they’re both surrounded by various rumors and speculation about their new partners. On Nick’s end though, things have been developing rather slowly and he’s apparently still in a very early stage of that relationship. Whether it’s going to develop into something more serious, we can’t tell right now – and Nick Jonas himself hasn’t been very public about his current love adventures, so he might not see this as something with a lot of potential either. If his relationship does start to get more serious, we’re probably going to hear about it in the news pretty soon afterwards, as it’s going to be a pretty important announcement for many of his fans.
