Aside from her fiancé, Miley also celebrated her birthday eve with her co-coaches on “The Voice” as Alicia Keys, Blake Shelton, and Adam Levine serenaded the pop star.
However, it wasn’t all rainbows and sunshine for the birthday girl as one of her artists was sent home. Darby Walker was eliminated from the season earlier this week and did not make the Top 10.
The 17-year-old contender, along with another artist from Team Miley, Aaron, were the ones left in the bottom two. Aaron was ultimately saved by the votes. Last week, Aaron was also saved against Team Alicia’s Sarayah.
A very emotional Darby thanked her coach for all the things that she has done, for the support she has given. Miley told viewers that this is the worst thing that could happen on the eve of her birthday.
Miley was also in tears as she thanked Darby and congratulates Aaron. She also tells the other coaches that it’s hard losing a team member especially for her since she’s a first-time judge on the NBC singing contest.
While Miley said goodbye to one of her team members, her star player Ali Caldwell earned a lot of praises for her performance. Ali was even the first save of the night, which meant she got the highest number of votes.
