Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth may not be in a relationship anymore, and they both seemed to be moving on and going in different directions, but a recent statement by Miley herself puzzled her fans and made them question whether she’s really over her ex-boyfriend, or if there’s something a bit deeper going on behind the scenes that we’re not hearing about.
According to Miley Cyrus, she’s still in love with Liam Hemsworth, and what’s more, that love goes both ways – she reportedly said this in a recent interview, and seemed amused by rumors that she’s been moving on and looking for someone else already; she also didn’t seem to take the same rumors very seriously with regards to Hemsworth himself.
On the other hand, Cyrus did also reveal that she isn’t very happy by the constant discussion of her romantic life in the press, and she would apparently prefer if the media backed off a little and stopped focusing on her private life so much. She simply said that there’s a lot of love between her and Hemsworth, and she didn’t appreciate the way the media was twisting things to make it look like they were feeling negative towards one another.
She went on to say that there were lots of rumors about her and Hemsworth in the press recently, and pretty much all of the bad ones were false. This is something her fans were already suspecting – and there were also similar sentiments on the side of Liam Hemsworth and his fanbase, from what we were able to tell – but without an official confirmation, of course nobody knew for sure what was going on with both celebrities.
Some publications have been reminding people that Cyrus withdrew from dating for quite a while after her relationship with Hemsworth ended, although she did start a new one with Patrick Schwarzenegger about a year ago. That didn’t last very long though, as Patrick was reportedly caught hanging out with an ex-girlfriend, something which Miley obviously didn’t take lightly and she ended up calling off the whole thing.
There were also rumors that Miley Cyrus might be exploring a bisexual side to her personality, as she was apparently spotted with Stella Maxwell in a rather inappropriate context. However, she expressed a lot of negativity towards the press in that situation as well, claiming that people were just looking to fabricate drama and there was nothing going on between the two of them.
Whether or not Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth will end up getting back together, we can’t say at this point. The two of them have been acting rather mysteriously about their relationship and we aren’t sure that they’re actually considering that as an option. Cyrus is quite open about their alleged love, on one hand, but on the other, Hemsworth himself has been rather quiet and hasn’t made any comments on the situation. That could be a hint to a slightly different story, according to some fans of Miley Cyrus.
Some seem to believe that she’s just making things up about her current affairs with Hemsworth, especially given the fact that he previously made some negative comments about Cyrus and the state of their relationship. While he didn’t directly say that there was any animosity between the two of them, he did imply that they were on non-speaking terms and didn’t want to elaborate any further, which led many to believe that this relationship is as good as over.
