Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth finally made things official between them after the pair was spotted making their public appearance after three years.
The couple stepped out and packed on some PDAs during Variety’s 2016 Power Women luncheon in Beverly Hills last week.
Liam was apparently giving support to Miley as the 23-year-old was honored alongside actresses Scarlett Johansson, Laverne Cox, and Helen Mirren for being women of power in the industry.
Cyrus was reportedly honored for her work in her foundation, Happy Hippie Foundation. The “Adore You” singer founded Happy Hippie in 2014 to help the homeless youth and the LGBT community.
Onlookers told E! News that Cyrus wrapped her arm around her beau and leaned her head against his shoulder. Others could not resist taking a video of the couple’s sweetest moments wherein they were seen getting cozy while exchanging jokes.
Miley sported a navy blue jumpsuit with flared bottoms and ruffled collar, while the 26-year-old Australian actor looked dashing in a crisp white shirt and black suit jacket.
The duo was photographed sharing sweet moments all throughout the event. At one point, Miley adoringly put her arms around Liam. The couple was also spotted taking selfies. Fans of both stars were happy for the couple’s recent public sighting.
The A-list couple met in 2009 while working on the Nicholas Sparks film “The Last Song.” After three years of being in an on-and-off romance, the couple announced that they were engaged.
However, they called off the engagement in September 2013 and eventually split up. Despite no one confirming their split, Miley’s grief was evident from her songs on her “Bangerz” album such as the “Wrecking Ball” and “Adore You” tracks.
By January this year, reports were surfacing that the two have reconciled as Miley was spotted spending the holidays over at the Hemsworths in Australia. Reports suggest that the couple rekindled their romance over the holidays as they were inseparable ever since.
The “Can’t Be Tamed” singer was since then spotted in Australia spending some quality time with Liam and his family. She was spotted multiple times celebrating holidays and enjoying the beach with the Hemsworths.
While neither one of them confirmed that they were back together, their Instagram accounts could not deny it. Some of their family members also spoke on behalf of them saying that both families are happy that they have found each other again.
The former Disney Channel star shared photos of herself wearing her beau’s shirt and apparently donning her Neil Lane engagement ring again hinting that the engagement is also back on.
Speaking on the Today Show, “The Voice” coach recently addressed her decision to wear her engagement ring for the first time.
The show’s hosts went digging into Miley’s rings and pressed the “Wrecking Ball” singer about the gold sparkler on her finger.
The “Hannah Montana” alum was keen on details at first avoiding to answer but later admits that she didn’t pick the ring, but it looks cute, alluding that her fiancé picked the jewelry.
Hemsworth has previously addressed their engagement rumors saying that although he was just 22 and Miley was 19 when he first proposed to her, it was not a spontaneous act.
“The Hunger Games” actor says that despite their rough split the following year after their engagement, Liam says he doesn’t regret the decision one bit.
Speaking to Australian media, “The Duel” actor says that proposal was a well-thought idea. He also revealed that it was a mutual decision to spend some time apart.
