Proud parents Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher were at the South by Southwest festival this past weekend as the actor launched his latest tech venture with business partner Guy Oseary.
Mila, who is Milena Markivna Kunis in real life, threw her all-out support to husband Ashton as he invested with Oseary in Sound Venture. The event that evening had to do with the launch of the new business venture.
While the couple did not bring their six-month-old daughter Wyatt with them during the business launch, the event was attended by a number of celebrities, colleagues, friends, as well as business people in the tech community.
Among the high-profile celebrities and personalities that were in the business launch of Sound Venture included actress Jessica Alba, rapper T.I., businessman and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, actor James Marsden, and actress Rashida Jones, details E! Online.
Latest business venture
Sound Venure is not the first foray of Ashton Kutcher in the tech world. He was actually an early proponent of Twitter, one of the more popular social media sites today.
Two years ago, he also played the role of Apple founder Steve Jobs in a biopic movie so he knows a lot about the industry.
Kutcher has previously invested in Spotify, Airbnb, Foursquare, and Uber also with Oseary. These investments only show that the 37-year-old actor, who still commands film and TV assignments, is preparing for his life beyond his acting career.
This obviously suits Mila Kunis well since they already have a baby together and that they should be charting not only the future of their relationship, which is very alive and healthy, but also that of their daughter Wyatt.
Great brands are not afraid to take the risk
In his rather informal speech during the formal launching of Sound Venture, Kutcher was quoted as saying that he and Oseary believe that great brands are not afraid to disrupt or take risks and that they are coming into the tech market with a lot of potentials.
The “Two and a Half Men” actor and partner Oseary launched the new business venture before a packed crowd hosted by De Leon Tequila.
After the formal announcement, Ashton and Mila began mingling with guests and the other partygoers as well as being seen taking sweet and cheesy pictures inside the Airbnb photo booth. The couple will be tying the knot soon but they refuse to divulge any detail about it.
Just before the Sound Venture business launch, Ashton Kutcher complained in his social media account that there are no diaper-changing tables in men’s public restrooms, which was actually based on his personal experience after going out with daughter Wyatt one recent time. He even posted that he will give a free shoutout on his Facebook page to the first public men’s restroom that will have a diaper-changing station.
Mila Kunis is also proud of his partner’s diaper-changing skills. When she appeared as guest in “The Ellen Degeneres Show,” she revealed that Ashton was the first to change Wyatt’s diaper when she was born. He has been doing it ever since so much so that Mila already calls him a master swaddler. The actress says that Ashton can actually swaddle anyone’s baby.
