Microsoft Surface Pro 5 Rumored to Run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Processor to Turn it Into the Ultimate Mobile Computer

Microsoft has yet to issue a formal confirmation or denial regarding the so-called Android OS variant of the Surface Pro 5 so the rumors should really be taken with a fine grain of salt.

While the Redmondian company has yet to confirm the release date for the Microsoft Surface Pro 5, there is current buzz saying that the device could have an early next year debut in the retail markets.

The rest of the rumors, particularly on the specifications and features of the high-end combination laptop-tablet device, are pretty consistent.

Microsoft Surface Pro 5 shall reportedly come out with the high-end chipset in Intel Kaby Lake and possibly running on the new Windows 10 Redstone 2 that Microsoft just launched in October. Of course, there is also the rather absurd rumor of having a variant of the device coming out with an Android OS.

The device shall also come out with an upgraded Surface pen that can run on rechargeable batteries, which can be charged in a wireless mode since it is magnetically linked to the Microsoft Surface Pro 5.

Redstone 2 has been referred to as the Creator’s gadget, a software with the potential capability and much improved to Microsoft’s Edge, personalization capabilities and adjustments to built-in apps.
