Its primary camera can take 8-megapixel quality photos while it also packs a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The device has internal storage expansion options of 128GB, 256GB, 512GB or 1TB.
The device was praised for its huge difference compared to its predecessor, the Surface Pro 3, including a more powerful CPU, more RAM and microSD options, bigger display, greater resolution, and even a cooler chassis.
Another interesting feature about the 4th generation device of the Surface Pro line is its compatibility with the accessories of its previous models.
The Surface Book has a 13.5-inch PixelSense display and can function up to 12 hours. The laptop has an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter, front and rear-facing dual microphones, and front-facing stereo speakers with Dolby audio.
The Surface Book is pretty much distinguishable among other laptops because of its detachable keyboard, which has a dynamic fulcrum hinge that expands as it is folded open, details Tech Insider.
Its keyboard contains a second battery, multiple ports, and an optional discrete graphics card that is used when the screen, dubbed as the clipboard, is docked to it.
Both devices are running on Windows 10, making it among the first few gadgets released with Microsoft’s latest operating system already pre-installed. The Surface Pro 4 has a starting price of $899 while the Surface Book base model retails for $1,499.
