The Schumacher family may have the right reasons to celebrate following the successive victories of Gina in the European equestrian competition and Mick in the ADAC Formula 4 season, recently.
However, they cannot sustain the jolly and celebratory mood since they have to also deal with the uncertainties about the health condition and recovery of their father Michael Schumacher, who is still recuperating from his physical ordeal following his skiing accident in the French Alps in December 2013.
His two children Gina and Mick have tried their best to move on from their father’s ordeal. They never fail to make their Dad proud as they emerged victorious in their own sports competitions recently, notes the Parent Herald.
It is likely that Michael Schumacher is quite proud of the victories of his two children but as nobody can tell his emotions since the family has requested a news blackout about his health conditions, everything is speculation at this time.
Doing well in sports
The 19-year-old Gina Maria Schumacher won a European Championships medal at an equestrian event in Switzerland. The SVAG FEI European Championship Reigning Young Riders 2016 was held at Corinna Schumacher’s CS Ranch in Givrins, Switzerland on August 12.
Even at her young age, Gina has already joined several showjumping competitions across Europe and she reportedly inherited her passion for riding from both her parents.
Mick, on the other hand, is also making headways in his career in motorsports, like his father. The 17-year-old Schumacher son took part at the ADAC Formula 4 season and won his fourth victory at the Nurburgring.
It is almost sure that if Michael Schumacher is not in his current condition, he would surely be proud of his two children for excelling in their respective sports.
Disposing off Schumi’s assets
There are reports saying that the Rolls Royce of the former racing legend has already been sold to cover his increasing healthcare expenses and help tide his family over their current financial crisis.
There has been no positive news regarding Schumi’s health condition and the latest progress that fans got access on is the recent revelation of the former F1 champion’s manager, Sabine Kehm, details the Christian Times.
The only good news that has reached fans thus far is that Michael Schumacher is reacting to what is happening around him.
It was Luca Cordero di Montezemolo, former chairperson of Ferrari and former boss of Michael Schumacher, who said that he is quite happy to know that Schumi is reacting despite his personal physical ordeal.
Montezemolo said that Michael is immobile and is restricted to a wheelchair. He added that the seven-time F1 world champion has lost a lot of weight, approximating it to about one-fourth of his original body weight.
It is also said that the only means of communication that the racing champion can do is through crying quietly whenever he hears the voices of his wife, Corrina, and children, Gina Maria and Mick, who are also going through a difficult time especially in the financial aspect.
Fans of the German car racer are left with getting their update about Schumi from his closest friends who occasionally visits him in his home in Lake Geneva, Switzerland where he has been recuperating since the second half of 2014.
Last June, Montezemolo paid a visit to the former F1 racing champion and he confirmed in a subsequent interview that the motor racing superstar is responding well to treatment.
He said that he knows how strong Michael is and believes that the icon’s determination would be very crucial for him to recover and come out of his very difficult situation.
Montezemolo said that he really hopes that Michael Schumacher does recover well from his physical debacle.
