Michael Schumacher Road to Recovery Slow But Family, Friends, and Fans Remain Optimistic!

The Formula One website refers to Michael as the greatest F1 driver that the sport has ever seen.

Sebastian Vettel, one of the most successful F1 racers on the Grand Prix circuit today, describes Schumi as his hero when he agreed to sign and drive for Ferrari starting this season. Ferrari is the team where Michael Schumacher won five of his seven world championships.

The good news from the Schumacher family is that Michael’s 17-year-old daughter Gina Maria and 16-year-old son Mick are also into sports just like their father.

Gina recently participated in the NRHA European Futurity Horse Show in the Bavarian town of Kreuth where she made an impressive showing of her skills in horseback riding.

Mick, on the other hand, is now into Formula Four racing and he just won a title in April. He is also proving to be a promising talent and would likely become an F1 driver in the near future.

Many believe that Michael would have been real proud seeing his children doing well in their respective sports, but he cannot just do that as of yet. Some of his friends also think that should Michael is well, he would most likely accompany his son Mick to the races, give him race advice, and would be real proud while Mick starts racing.
