Gertson is described as a 54-year-old sportswriting veteran with experience at the New York Post and has been writing for Fansided for about six weeks.
For some reason, the columnist took a swipe at Mia Khalifa in one of his columns. But the former pornstar is the type of person who does not take crap from anybody without giving something in return.
Their Twitter feud reached its height on September 29 when Mia Khalifa responded to the swipe at her by Gertson on his column when she posted that she is just glad that she works remotely and not in the office so that she does not have to put a cocktail napkin over her coffee when she leaves her desk.
Burt Gertson then tweeted that she just got off the horn with HR saying that they were not fans of the column which they described as misogynistic and chauvinistic.
He also added that HR also told him that if he did not issue an apology to Mia Khalifa, his contract would be terminated.
Mia Khalifa responded to the two tweets by saying that she thinks Gertson is used to being called as misogynistic and chauvinistic and also said that his apology is not accepted so he should not lie easily.
