It’s also becoming more and more apparent that there are many factors that determine the success of a performer, but many of them are usually outside the stars’ reach, even more so than with other entertainment industries. With all that in mind, it’s not rare to see popular performers retiring before they’ve even hit 30, and moving on to other things in their lives.
Mia Khalifa didn’t stay on the stage for long, but she managed to make a huge name for herself with her performance, as well as her approach to her image. The actress made clever use of her heritage, drawing a lot of attention to the fact that a Muslim was shooting porn, and she even took things to rather extreme levels in some of her shoots, featuring traditional religious elements in her performances.
The audience was split, with some enjoying her performance and her edgy attitude to the world, while others criticized her in a very outspoken way. Khalifa faced a lot of trouble in her home country of Lebanon in particular, where she was quickly ostracized and put down by the media and her peers. However, she didn’t seem very moved by that negativity, and actually used it to her advantage.
Now, to the disappointment of her many fans, Khalifa is apparently moving away from the porn business, although it’s not clear where she’s headed next. The star seems to have a lot to say about her experience as a performer, and not all of it is positive, but that’s not very rare with porn actresses. She’s currently planning to use her popularity to aid some of her favorite sports teams, and she’s already shown some activity in this regard during her time as a performer.
Plenty of people are still actively following her, so it makes perfect sense for Khalifa to take advantage of her position for good, plus she could always benefit from that situation as well. There are plenty of ways to use the fame one has acquired during a career in porn as a stepping stone to something else, and we’re probably about to see another major example of that.
It’s not all fun and games for Mia Khalifa right now though, as she also claims to be suffering from issues stemming from her breast size. She’s talked about pain problems, as well as the obvious negative implications of having a large chest in today’s society, and it seems like she’s getting closer and closer to a tipping point. There have been many cases in the porn industry of actresses undergoing operations to reduce their breast size, and the issues that Khalifa describes are usually only part of the negative experience for actresses in such a position.
The actress also pointed out another reason for disliking her figure – it apparently makes it hard to shop for clothes, especially when she has to consider herself in all sorts of different positions. It sounds like she’s quite limited in her options lately, and the situation might actually get worse if she doesn’t take any action in the future. Hopefully she will be able to take control of the situation before it gets too late, but obviously she knows best.
