The developer behind the Metal Gear Solid series has been in the news lately and not because they released another blockbuster game. This time around, just a few weeks ago, Konami was quoted as to say that the future of gaming comes from the mobile industry and that is what the company is going to focus on from this point forward.
After cancelling Silent Hills last month, the company made some headlines that started a petition to bring the game back. There was never a guarantee that Silent Hills was going to come to the PC, but as the game was developed and the news reports were picking up traction, fans of the game were starting to get very excited.
Konami removed the game from the Playstation Store and did not allow it to be re-downloaded that already owned it at one point. This is what was frustrating for the players that wanted to check the game out, especially those that already purchased and downloaded it to begin with.
