Metal Gear Online DLC Coming Soon And Well Worth The Wait!

One thing that you might have noticed with video games these days is that they are always downloading to your console. Even when you buy the disc, you are asked to download a bunch of updates even before you can play the game. This downloadable content is what makes the games more fun these days compared to back in the day when you had to buy expansions. Downloadable content has become commonplace and with it, your gaming fun is extended.

One of the most popular video games recently is the Metal Gear Online and it made the news again this week with the announcement of more downloadable content for players. In most cases, the downloadable content that you can get will feature new maps, new weapons, new enemies and sometimes even brand new characters. For Metal Gear Online, the downloadable content is going to bring you a little of all of that.

The third-person shooter game was almost over with according to an announcement last week from the developer. The announcement came as a surprise to those that love to play the game and even though it was just added to consoles last year, fans were shocked. The game is not going to be abandoned after all and fans are excited to see what is in store for them. One of those things is new content, as usual. Because there is new downloadable content, fans are hoping that means the game is safe from abandonment.

According to at least one online source, the game will be getting new maps and a new game mode called Survival Mode. Of course, these are not the only features of the new content, however, fans are going to have to wait and see what is coming their way after they download it. One speculation is that fans will be able to take advantage of winning streaks and Reward points. Maps can be expected to be familiar as one report indicated that they will be from previous games in the series. The Metal Gear Online DLC is expected later this month.

Metal Gear Online DLC

Another announcement that fans are waiting for includes the fact that the Metal Gear Online game is still not available for the PC on Steam. In basic terms, Metal Gear Online is the alternative to the popular Metal Gear V: The Phantom Plan and that is why fans have been keeping such a close eye on things. The news brought by Konami indicates that they are really listening to the fans of the video game series. It was also evident on Twitter as many fans expressed excitement and re-tweeted many tweets to show support.
