That’s particularly true in the context of how the story is being handled for the new film, as changing some of the core elements of the original plot is a risky move. It may or may not play out in the writers’ favor, but for what it’s worth fans have been excited about the new ideas being introduced in the film so far.
In any case, once “Jurassic World” is out, if it’s successful it could easily set the stage for even more films in the franchise in the future. If it proves to be popular with the crowds right now, it would be a no-brainer to continue developing the franchise.
But in case there is a problem with this release, hopefully the producers are going to take the smart approach and reevaluate their actions before deciding to make another release, because we certainly wouldn’t want to see this particular franchise be ruined through blatant attempts for quick monetization.
