Mercedes-Benz Gets a “Part” in Jurassic World!

In an interesting idea for marketing, Mercedes-Benz have managed to insert themselves in one of the most discussed film productions at the moment, and in a rather prominent position too. The company has struck a deal with the producers of the film for scenes that will feature a fleet of their cars, more specifically the GLE 450 AMG Coupe. Needless to say, the event managed to generate a lot of hype and people were excited to talk about the ad, both on the side of Mercedes fans as well as those anticipating the movie itself.

The ad can already be seen on YouTube and social media in general, and its release was accompanied by a “behind the scenes” video showing how the whole ad was filmed, from bringing the cars to the set, to having them face the notorious Indominus Rex, one of the new dinosaurs introduced in the film.

The new dinosaur will be one of the scariest species we’ve seen in the franchise so far, and that’s hinted by its very name – and the producers have said that fans should be very afraid of what this beast is capable of, as it’s unlike any other dinosaur we’ve seen on the screen so far. The T-Rex is a frightening creature that instills fear in the hearts of all avid dinosaur fans, but it looks like this one will take things to the next level.

There is just under a month until the film releases, as it’s currently scheduled for June 12, 2015. It will star Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins and other prominent names from the industry, and it’s expected to revive interest in the franchise on a significant level. There has been a lot of hype surrounding the production too, and it’s not just coming from people who were already fans of the franchise before – it looks like film fans in general are very excited to see the new “Jurassic World”.

And of course, the film’s producers haven’t been shy in showing off their work, as they have been very heavy on the marketing, promoting the film left and right and often through some creative means like the last ad for Mercedes-Benz. It’s clear that this film is going to get a lot of attention once it’s released, but hopefully it will manage to live up to the huge amounts of hype it’s generated so far.

Jurassic World

Because if it doesn’t, it could easily go down in history as one of the biggest disappointments in cinema. Any film fan knows the popularity of the “Jurassic” franchise, and coming out with a poor release in it could spell disaster.
