Matthew McConaughey is one of the most widely known actors in Hollywood and has been in so many movies during his 24 year career. The actor might be best known for films like “Failure to Launch”, “Amistad”, “Contact”, “A Time to Kill”, “Killer Joe”, “Bernie” and of course, “Dazed and Confused” dating all the way back to 1993. The actor has won many awards for his acting and they include more than 20 for the Dallas Buyer’s Club in 2013.
The news that has come to light this week, however, has nothing to do with his movie career, rather it has to do with his marriage to Camila Alves. The family that had three children, mom and dad is about to welcome another addition. That brings the child count to four for the couple, which finally got married back in 2012. The other three children are Levi, Vida and Livingston, which are 6,5,2 respectively.
Matthew McConaughey is 12 years older than his wife and it looks like the busy couple has no problem adding another child to the mix. According to online sources, everyone that knows now is completely shocked and they thought that they couple was done having children. Right now, all of the signs are pointing to the fact that the couple is expecting. Sources that watched the couple during the Golden Globe awards claimed that Camila had her shoes off afterwards and did not take a sip of alcohol all night.
It was also apparent that Camila was eating for two and had to servings before she made her way to the desert table, according to sources. This pregnancy comes after a difficult third child according to an interview that she had on The View in March of last year. The troubles that she was having included strong pains that she was not used to and the doctors could not figure out. A C-section was performed at that time. Without giving details, Camila revealed that there were plenty of things inside her that needed to be taken car of.
With a fourth child coming into the picture, the question is whether or not Matthew McConaughey will be slowing down his acting. The actor is currently a part of the True Detective series on HBO and who knows what other movies he has planned for the coming years. Matthew McConaughey is getting “up there” in age and might be just “making hay when the sun shines”, but it might be time to slow things down and focus on being the best dad that any child could ask for.
