Cerone ended his tweet by saying that their time as caretakers has ended and thanked the show fans for letting them in into their hearts and minds even for a brief run.
According to some reports, Fox is also in contention to save the series from cancellation. If ever, “Constantine” will actually complete the network’s supernatural TV show roster along with “Lucifer” and “Frankenstein.”
Early in June, Cerone was still very hopeful that CW would rescue “Constantine” from the gallows and in order to sweeten the offer, the showrunner even promised to bring veteran actor William Shatner to the show for Season 2.
Cerone and the millions of fans of the series are pinning their hopes on CW since the network is also home to series of similar genre as “Constantine” including “Arrow” and “The Flash.”
I really hope that they will renewed the show, as I loved it!!
