Mass Effect 4 Is Coming And This Is What We Know!

When it comes to getting news about a new video game that is about to fly off the store shelves, the best place to look is the internet.  There are plenty of gamer websites, blogs and places that you can find rumors about new games and even some leaked images of what excited gamers can expect when the game is released.  One of the most anticipated game releases coming next year is going to be Mass Effect 4.

More than 2 years after the last time anything was said about the game and this month gamers got to see some new graphics and other in game content via leaked images.  The game might have been released this year, but the game developer BioWare has made comments about concentrating on games like Dragon Age: Inquisition right now.  Gamers are going to be fine with that reason as the Dragon Age series can be looked at as just as popular.

Now that video gamers from all over the world are a little happy about the new game coming out, we can take a step back to see what is actually known about the game.  According to at least one online source, the story line, characters and game play have been changed up this time around.  BioWare said that the story is going to focus more on protagonist who will not be another version of Commander Shepard.  Past adventures will be hinted during the story line, but Shepard’s story will not continue.

Video that has been posted online would suggest that the game is going to be set in another region in space that is not recognizable and could be an attempt to refresh the series.  Concept art for alien home worlds was released earlier this year at N7, but you do not get to see the alien’s themselves.  N7 also revealed at least 7 different photos of the concept art for the game giving gamer lovers a brief look inside.

Rumors suggest that because some core characters have been left out and the story has changed, the name of the fourth version will not be “Mass Effect 4”.  Just like with every other popular video game that is about to be released, hints are released and most of them are missed by the new gamer while Mass Effect veterans pick up on them right away.  Back in September 2013, Twitter was buzzing when the executive producer made a comment about being able go “hands on with a playable build of the game.”

One more thing that was revealed recently about Mass Effect 4 is that it will be built on the DICE Frostbite 3 Engine, much like Dragon Age: Inquisition was.
