Martin Still Working On Winds Of Winter, Fans Are Getting Impatient, Apple Releases Enhanced Edition With Animation

Martin said that digital books were an incredible next step in the world of books. He said that with the Enhanced Edition, fans could check whenever they have a confusion with the story, and they can find out anything they want from the world of ‘A Song of Ice and Fire.’

The enhanced edition of A Song of Ice and Fire followed the Harry Potter series. Apple had released the iBook feature for Harry Potter in October 2015. It includes interactive animations and annotations from J. K. Rowling.

Book One of the enhanced edition, A Game of Thrones is currently available for $8.99. Books two to five will be released in the subsequent months. Those interested can preorder the books on iBook for $11.99.

Fab Newz reported that Martin might have decided to rework Winds of Winter after seeing the huge success of Game of Thrones Season 6. He might have felt insecure after seeing the kind of response garnered by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss.

Weiss and Benioff were completely on their own from Season 6 since they didn’t have a novel to fall back and they might have intimidated Martin with a brilliant script. Hence Martin decided to rework on the sixth book, which explains the delay.
