Martin Donovan Added to the Cast of Ant-Man, Movie Premieres in 2015

This is the age of technology and movie sets have become less privacy-ensured than ever with dozens of social media platforms and apps catering to an infinite number of users across the world. Considering all these, Marvel Studios has been trying their best to keep information regarding their upcoming superhero adventure movie Ant-Man under wraps, ever since the beginning of production earlier in August this year.

It is one of the most secretive projects in the film industry, similar to The Fantastic Four and Star Wars: Episode VII. However, things hardly turn up as planned and leaked images from the sets have hit the Web regularly.

Martin Donovan is formally a part of the cast as of now, although, it is not clear what role he may be playing. The Hollywood Reporter writes, citing sources that his role is ‘pivotal.’ If believed so, he may take over the role of Patrick Wilson or that of another villain.

The new star is best-known for his role in comedy drama Weeds. He plays the role of DEA agent Peter Scottson. Apart from this, he is also associated with lots of well-known projects on television. He will be next seen in Inherent Vice, a creation of Paul Thomas Anderson, which releases on January 30, 2015.

Earlier this year Patrick Wilson departed from the cast due to a scheduling delay. This happened when Peyton Reed replaced Edgar Wright as director of the movie.

Till now we have information that Paul Reddy will be in the shoes of Scott Lang, and the role of Hank Pym will be taken up by Michael Douglas. Michael Pena, John Slattery, Corey Stoll and Evangeline Lilly are the other cast members of Ant-Man.

The upcoming movie will tell the tale of a criminal and former con man Scott Lang. He is taken away by Hank Pym, who has invented a technology to shrink an individual to the size of an ant while boosting up the strength to a great extent.

The movie is slated to release on July 17, 2015.
