Meanwhile, the show’s actual participants seem to be doing fine, although some of them are apparently a little confused over the whole situation. It’s easy to see why, considering how borderline absurd the show was to some people in the beginning, but at least it clearly helped some couples find each other.
One of the participants, Nick, explained that he felt a little absurd about the whole idea of getting married to a person he knew so little about in the first place, but at the same time he seems happy with his decision and is ready to move forward with his life.
The couples have not been without their issues, as can be expected. We wouldn’t be surprised if we hear even more about their lives in the future, as they could easily fall back into the spotlight if they wanted to.
But for now, there don’t seem to be any such intentions from the people who took part in “Married at First Sight”, and most are apparently looking forward to just getting to know their partners better.
It would be interesting if the producers decided to revisit their lives sometime in the future and explored how they’re doing after all that’s happened on the show (and after it), but we wouldn’t expect this to happen anytime soon. It would be a great promotional tool for another production, however, and the showrunners surely realize that themselves.
