The show seems to be “expanding” off its set too, as there have been rumors that some of the participants have started to build new relationships outside of their on-screen presence.
This could interfere with their contracts with the show to some extent, but we don’t know exactly how they’re structured so we can’t really tell. But it has definitely been affecting people’s perception of the show, as it seems to make some fans have less trust in the work of the producers and their ability to keep things under control.
That’s one of the main issues with running a reality show focused on love and relationships though. But it could also be said that the lack of predictability is one of the main positive factors of these shows, as they can make them quite interesting to follow.
The general model for the show has been quite successful, so even if “Married at First Sight” doesn’t continue beyond its current season, we’re confident that someone else will pick up the idea and continue it. There is a lot of potential left in there, and reality shows are currently enjoying a lot of popularity in general as well, so it doesn’t make sense for this idea to just vanish from the screen.
For now though, it’s enough to focus on the happenings in the current season, as they have been keeping fans pretty occupied.
