Since it was released, Mario Kart 8 has received a lot of favorable reviews, and gamers have been enjoying this game for many different kinds of reasons. Even then, some people have been mildly disgruntled with the game due to the DLC. Nintendo is a company that does not release any DLCs and has a very poor form of online support as well.
It seems that things have changed quite admirably now, and Nintendo is all geared up to release the first Mario Kart 8 DLC. The first paid DLC released from Nintendo will feature eight different traditional courses along with three new courses and also four new additional vehicles. One of the primary courses has been declared, and it seems to have been taken from Mario Kart Double Dash.
It is a special course known as Yoshi’s Circuit and funnily enough the course is shaped like Yoshi. With this course, the players will be able to race around a complete outline of Yoshi, which is not easily discernible. It adds a special touch of mystery as the complete environment is quite similar to that of a normal island save for a few special bits.
Once you start zooming out, the foliage, landscape and other features make it quite evident that you are racing around Yoshi. The interesting aspect is that this particular course featuring Yoshi’s outline also appeared in Mario Kart DS. Other than newer racing courses and vehicles, this new DLC will also feature three new characters for which gamers are quite excited.
These are Link, Tanooki Mario and Cat Peach. Gamers are excited to hear that Link will feature along with his cool motorcycle. A few days back, Nintendo UK tweeted an image of Link on his motorcycle which is known as, ‘The Master Cycle’. They also pointed out the amount of horsepower that this bike would have.
The DLC has not been released yet, but gamers are anticipating that this release will be successful. This upcoming DLC will be quite cheap compared to other games. It is priced at just 8 dollars and will feature a lot of brand new content included in it. Mario Kart 8 will feature two different DLC expansion packs as well.
The first of the highly anticipated DLCs will release on November while the second one will release on May, next year. The next bundle that releases on May next year, will feature many interesting Animal Bundle. It seems like Nintendo is trying to prolong the life of Mario Kart in a major way. Nintendo is finally doing their best to keep gamers interested with new updates and DLCs, like most other game developers out there.
Stay tuned for additional information on the latest DLCs and updates!
