Margot Robbie Recalls Nearly Joining ‘Fantastic Four’ Reboot; Celebrates Wrap of ‘Suicide Squad’ Filming!

Because they are on-screen lovers, Robbie was mostly acting opposite the Academy Award-winning actor and the “Focus” actress says that Leto’s portrayal of the Clown Prince of Crime was pretty impressive and how he does it is definitely no joke.

According to Comicbook, the Australian native says that she was also frightened of Leto in his The Joker get-up, complete with gold teeth, green hair, and the tattoos. But now, she’s so used to it that when he sees Leto without his The Joker look, she tends to get petrified. Not to mention how Leto, in his character, opted to show some love to his co-star by sending her a rat for a pet.

In an interview before their filming wrapped up, Margot says that she didn’t know how to approach her co-star when he’s not donning his The Joker look because he really didn’t know who he was out of his character. But when the 30 Seconds to Mars frontman got back in his make-up, she became comfortable again.

Leto is known to be a method actor and a lot of his co-stars have said that the actor tends to get invested so much in the roles he’s playing that he stays in his character even after filming. Scott Eastwood earlier stated that he too was afraid to approach Leto because he is so much in character.
