‘Man of Steel 2’ to See a Heroic, Non-Conflicted, and Coherent Version of Superman!

It is possible that Warner Bros might include other films in its schedule including the reported “Green Lantern Corps,” “Suicide Squad 2,” and now, the “Man of Steel 2.”

But the earliest that the “Man of Steel 2” could hit theaters is either late in 2018 or sometime in 2019. However, it is merely a speculation at this time and only Warner Bros could make the confirmation about it.

Based on production sources, Warner Bros has apparently made “Man of Steel 2” a top priority for the studio and the marching order is to get the character right for the audiences.

The first “Man of Steel” directed by Zack Snyder was a blockbuster hit, earning $668 million at the worldwide box office but it did not generate the same excitement as the “The Dark Knight” film trilogy of Christopher Nolan, which was the reason why Warner Bros decided to put it on the backburner.

With Superman now getting the right character development as ordered by Warner Bros, “Man of Steel 2” could actually become the proper sequel to “Man of Steel” and not the erstwhile blockbuster superhero ensemble “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.”

Another thing that seems already sure is that Henry Cavill will be back in “Man of Steel 2” as the mild-mannered Clark Kent and the heroic and likable Superman.

  1. Suicide Squad took a drubbing at the box office?! Maybe on Earth 2, but not here. It’s earned around 627 million so far and has yet to open in Japan. That’s outstanding considering it’s still showing “legs” in the theaters, was denied a release in China, which cost them at least 85-100 million and Suicide Squad 2 is already in the works…..
