According to reports, Warner Bros has learned its lesson already about putting more drama on DCEU films when fans really wanted a good serving of their superheroes the way they know it. Thus, it has been said that “Man of Steel 2” would already feature a heroic, non-conflicted, and coherent version of Superman, regardless whether it is to be helmed by Zack Snyder or not.
After “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” and “Suicide Squad” showed the fantastical elements of the DCEU, DC fans need an inspirational Superman, the superhero they know who is able to leap tall buildings on a single bounce, runs faster than a bullet train, and flies like a plane or bird.
Fans, especially the young ones, are hoping to see a Superman in “Man of Steel 2” who would even go out of his way to save a proverbial cat from a tree, reports Cinema Blend.
And with the way things are going for the pre-production of the sequel to the “Man of Steel,” it looks like it is greatly heading that way.
Previously, it was reported that “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” is the follow-up or sort of sequel to “Man of Steel” when Warner Bros opted to build an interconnected cinematic universe instead of building a new Superman franchise.
