When your Motorola Moto 360 is set up as trusted device, your smartphone will remain unlocked as the watch is within the range of the device. There are times when entering your security pin in order to unlock your device seems like a tedious task. Hence, it will work great to have your device unlocked while is in the range of your watch.
Once you have a supported phone, it’s quite easy to set up the watch as a trusted device. There are many devices that will not get this advantage, however, if you are lucky enough to own a Moto X or a supported Moto variant; it is quite easy.
At first, you need to pair up the watch with the device. It can be done easily by making use of the Android Wear App. After this, you need to tap Settings and then select Security. Once it’s done, select Trusted Devices. Once you’re prompted, choose Yes, I’m in. After this, you will be asked to enter your PIN or pattern. Design-wise, the Moto 360 is better than Apple, as it has a more flexible approach. However, the Apple watch has much different variety of bands like stainless steel, leather, and plastic.
However, they cannot be interchanged as in the swappable leather/stainless steel variants for the Moto 360. The ‘Digital Crown’ of the Apple is yet another nifty addition from the Cupertino giant.
