Mafia 3 PC Framerate Reportedly Locked to 30 FPS, May Not Be Intentional!

It came out at a good time too. The hype around “GTA 5” is just dying down, while at the same time many people love to speculate about the possibility of seeing its sequel announced soon.

And while Rockstar have been pretty quiet on that front, not revealing anything at all about “GTA 6”, “Mafia 3” seems to do a nice job of filling that gap in fans’ hearts.

Of course it’s not going to steal the thunder from “GTA 6” once that game is actually announced, but it’s probably safe to assume that this won’t be anytime soon. There are various reasons for that, from Rockstar’s traditionally slow working pace, to the current state of the market.

The studio also seems a bit occupied with other projects at the moment, so “Mafia 3” has complete freedom to impress its fans as much as possible, as long as the game has something to offer of course.

The real verdict will come a few weeks from now once everyone has experienced the game properly. If there are any flaws in its gameplay, it will take a while for them to manifest, and until then gamers should tread carefully. The game has received a lot of hype before it was even announced officially, making it a very risky purchase for those who were swept away by all the fantastic rumors and claims that were floating around, making it a perfect opportunity for some serious disappointment.
