We don’t know any details about the technological aspect of the title, but there were previously rumors that it’s going to be made for the Xbox One and PS4. Those are quite old rumors at this point, so we don’t know if there was any truth to them or not.
But it would definitely be a winning move for 2K Games to release it on as many platforms as possible and reap the benefits of modern consoles with the great hardware that they offer. “Mafia” is a game that’s all about immersing the player in its environment, and good graphics can work wonders for that.
Other than that, we expect some solid voice acting and writing from the new title, as this is all that players want in the end. As long as it looks good, has a nice story to follow and interesting characters that are memorable enough to last in someone’s mind beyond one playthrough, the game should be solid.
