Macaulay Culkin can now just looked back to the time last year when he became a victim of malicious rumors that he was already dead. While others would feel bad about it, the former actor simply takes it in stride and just charges the experience to funny memories, which he certainly had plenty while he was still a child actor.
Although his appearance has greatly changed from what he looked like years ago, Macaulay is far from being dead and he’s not about to kick the bucket anytime soon despite being a rugged, thin, and long-haired guy these days. For one, he is no longer an actor as he thinks of himself as a pop rock singer, and thus the appearance.
It was reported sometime late last year that Culkin has been found dead at the age of 34. The website is named msnbc.website and it reported that Culkin’s body was found in his Manhattan apartment after the police checked on the place supposedly upon a family member request.
The report also noted that there was at least one apartment tenant who confirmed that Culkin was staying at the area. However, the police was not able to identify the man’s identity. The report even quoted Detective James Patterson of the Manhattan Police Department then who allegedly said that the authorities found the apartment exceptionally clean and that they found no signs of abuse or foul-play. So, they were reportedly waiting for the coroner’s ruling to give them an idea on what had happened that day.
Fortunately, that was not true. The news actually came from one of the websites that invent atrocious rumors or death hoaxes. Culkin himself had proved that the report was not true. The actor-turned-musician took to his social media account to post some photos of himself while holding a carbonated beverage with caption telling his fans that they are on tour and that it was silly to think him dead.
“The Good Son” actor was in the middle of a music festival in Austin, Texas at the time and his band, The Pizza Underground, was travelling out in Louisiana. To confirm that he is really not dead, he posted another photo of him with his bandmates with caption, “one of the great things you can do when you’re alive is stop for lunch in Breaux Bridge, LA.” Clearly, Culkin was not dead.
That report was not the first time Culkin has been rumored dead. When erroneous pictures of him being carried to stand on a mic has gone viral, people thought his bandmates were dragging a dead body. Apparently, he was just wasted at that time.
The Pizza Underground is an American comedy rock band based in New York City. They are doing song parodies with pizza-themed songs. The group is made of Culkin who plays the percussion, kazoo and the vocals; Phoebe Kreutz on vocals and glockenspiel; Austin Kilham on tambourine and vocals; Deenah Vollmer on the pizza box and vocals; and Matt Colbourn on guitar and vocals. Because of their theme, they traditionally gives out pizzas to those people who attend their shows.
