Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford and Calum Hood Celebrate Successful Debut of Second Album of 5SOS in a Hollywood Nightclub, More Details!

Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, and Calum Hood of the Australian rock band 5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS) were spotted sneaking out of the Nice Guy nightclub in Hollywood on the evening of August 13.

Without really confirming it, the three appear to be celebrating the release of the group’s second album titled “Sounds Good Feels Good” which debuted at No. 1 on the iTunes chart just one hour after it officially came out on August 14. The album is now available for pre-order, details the Daily Mail.

Lead singer Luke, guitarist Michael, and Calum looked a little worse for wear when they sneaked out of the Hollywood nightclub, with Luke failing to show his signature smile to bystanders as his head was bowed all the way to his waiting vehicle.

Luke was wearing his iconic stage attire of black skinny jeans and ankle boots while matching it with a colored jumper. Michael, on the other hand, was dressed in a black T-shirt that had an image printed on it and matching it with jeans. He also styled his freshly dyed hair down and to the left underneath a cap.

Calum Hood was wearing a black top and showed off his arm tattoos. The other band member Ashton Irwin was not with the trio.

It was not clear if the triumvirate will be heading to another party location after their stint at the Nice Guy nightclub, but it looks as if they will be moving on to another hot spot that night.

North American leg of tour

5SOS is currently on the third and most grueling leg of their ‘Rock Your Socks Out’ concert tour in North America that began on July 18 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

It is scheduled to last all the way until September 13 at the Coral Sky Amphitheater at West Palm Beach in Florida in the United States.

They are currently halfway through of the North American leg of their concert tour and will finish off the four-month adventure in South Florida next month.

Early this month, 5SOS released their latest music video for their track “She’s Kinder Hot” which has already claimed the top spot on iTunes. It has already got more than 5.6 million views on YouTube.

The band’s next single “Fly Away,” which has just been released on pre-order along with their second album, also debuted at No. 1 on the singles charts on August 13.

No model students

The 19-year-old vocalist of the 5SOS disclosed that he and his bandmates were not model students while they were attending high school together, notes Unreality TV of UK.

He said that they did not know each other before ending up in the same classes during their high school years. And when they become friends and formed 5SOS, schoolwork became less of a priority for all of them.

In a recent interview, Luke bared that Michael was the least committed to his academic career, but he and Calum were also not very dedicated in attending classes or participating in school activities either.

Luke explained that they were really good friends at school. He did not have that many friends so he will just be waiting for Calum to get to school and get off his school bus.

Luke Hemmings

The Australian pop rock band says that their stage performances in their ongoing ‘Rock Out with Your Socks Out’ world tour are inspired by the great rock bands of the past.

Luke Hemmings identified some of these great rock bands as Green Day, Guns N’ Roses, Poison, Bon Jovi, and Blink-182. He added that he watched all those rock bands in their stage performances online through VH1 to see how they make a huge impact on the audience.
