Luke Hemmings has been a bit inactive under the spotlight lately, and now it became clear why – the singer has been going through the process of getting a driver’s license, and now he has announced that he has finally successfully obtained it. According to the singer, the reason he had never done this until now was related to his career as a musician, which was taking up a great portion of his time, precluding him from engaging in many additional activities.
The license, according to Hemmings, is a provisionary one and not a “complete” driver’s license – there is a limitation on the hours during which the singer is allowed to drive, as is the standard procedure with provisionary licenses in Australia. This has apparently been on Hemmings’ schedule for quite a while now, although recent events have made it more difficult to go through with the plan.
In related news, the singer has been discussing his future with regards to his significant other, Bea Miller. In a radio show interview, he revealed that he is happy with the idea of marrying her, and would likely agree to it. They are scheduled to meet up later in the year, and it’s curious to see how that would play out. It’s not unlikely that a good relationship will develop between the two, although some fans have been skeptical about the prospect, claiming that Hemmings would be wiser to focus mainly on his career at this point in his life, putting off marriage by at least a few years.
5SOS have been making some interesting choices with regards to their music lately, such as the decision to release an exclusive track only with physical copies of their latest album. In an age when most people are used to buying their music digitally, this could have interesting effects, although it’s not likely that it will revive the physical music market on its own.
The band’s popularity has been on a rise, and the trend is expected to continue in 2015, with upcoming tours and promotional events that could give them the shot to ultimate popularity that they have been striving to get. 5SOS no longer relies on opening for One Direction for their success, as they have branched out and managed to stand on their own. The band has been capitalizing heavily on interaction with their community, in particular through social media channels, where they regularly post pictures and videos, especially following a show or another major event. This has lead to a great boost in their popularity not long after their career started, and critics have commended the band on successfully using modern technology to aid their success.

MY BEALTIFUL LUKE
