After completing their “Sounds Live Feels Live” world concert tour in the first week of October, the Australian pop rock band 5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS) has dropped off the radar.
Though there were rumors saying that they would be following the footsteps of the popular boy band One Direction which disbanded a few months ago after completing their latest world concert tour this year, 5SOS is still solid and there seems to be no plan to break it up anytime soon.
While they are basically on their own with their free time, the three members of 5SOS – Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood, and Ashton Irwin – decided to have their getaway from winter in sunny Mexico.
Only Michael Clifford was not around during the getaway and the three best friends and bandmates brought along their respective friends with them.
As expected, Arzaylea was invited by Luke Hemmings. The lead vocalist of the 5SOS shared on his Instagram account a group picture of the people who have joined them in their Mexican adventure. It was the first time that Luke Hemmings shared a photo that includes Arzaylea on his photo-sharing app.
Initially, some were saying that Arzaylea was not in the picture but when she also shared the same group picture on her Instagram account and claimed that she was part of the group, fans and followers realized that she was indeed there, notes the Inquisitr.
Spreading love online
While the pair of Luke Hemmings and Arzaylea have been receiving plenty of hate on the internet, the two have decided to reciprocate it with love instead – their love for one another.
Luke appears to be madly in love with Arzaylea, although most of his fans do not agree with his choice because they believe that his social media influencer girlfriend is just using him to hog the limelight and bring the people’s attention to herself, notes the Hall of Fame Magazine.
But instead of responding to hate on social media in an attempt to drive a wedge in their relationship, Luke has decided to be open about their relationship and is now proud to say to the whole world that she is dating and in love with Arzaylea.
For her part, Arzaylea seemed to have also toned down with her arguing with fans on social media, perhaps on the insistence of Luke Hemmings as well, realizing that it is only the two of them who could either make or break their relationship.
Rumors about disbandment
Incidentally, the disbandment rumors of 5SOS were actually fuelled by a recent Twitter post from Calum Hood who said on social media that he wants to also work outside of the band.
Hood added that he wanted to become a barista, which caused many fans of 5SOS to be worried that 5SOS would soon take the route of One Direction and its members shall subsequently go separate ways.
Following Hood’s tweet, Starbucks responded by offering him a post on their world-renowned coffee establishment. Interestingly, fellow bandmate Ashton Irwin told Calum to pursue his dream of being a barista.
But Michael Clifford was saying a different thing when he said that he is looking forward to another tour with 5SOS although only the three of them are often seen together in public and nowhere around is Luke Hemmings.
As expected, Luke Hemmings was not always with his fellow bandmates because he is just too busy tending to his girlfriend Arzaylea.
Luke is often seen in public, not with Calum, Michael, or Ashton, but with Arzaylea, prompting fans to say that the 5SOS lead singer values his girlfriend over his bandmates.
Many critics believe that the relationship of Luke and Arzaylea is only as good as the 5SOS so if Luke allows himself to fall off the popularity wagon that 5SOS brings to him and his fellow bandmates, it would have a telling impact on his relationship with Arzaylea.
In fact, many are saying that Arzaylea would likely drop Luke like a hot potato when he is no longer as popular as he is now as the lead guitarist and vocalist of 5SOS so they are advising the young singer to set his priorities right.
