The relationship of 5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS) lead vocalist Luke Hemmings and his social media influencer girlfriend Arzaylea is one of the most scrutinized ever by the fans of the Australian pop rock band.
And that’s because most fans of Luke Hemmings and 5SOS really hate Arzaylea to the max that they would do everything to make their idol realize that he is dating someone who is not fit for him, or worse is cheating on him often.
Last month, reports came out that Arzaylea tried to cheat on Luke by reportedly going flirty and hitting on his bandmate Michael Clifford, who shunned it away. When Clifford decided to tell Hemmings about it, it caused a minor altercation as Luke refused to believe what his bandmate had to say about his girlfriend.
That was when the 5SOS was during the European leg of their “Sounds Live, Feels Live” concert tour.
After a brief break, which the band members spent mostly in their home country in Australia, 5SOS is back on the road again in the US and Canada for the North American leg of their concert tour.
Cheated on each other
During the lull on their concert tour, reports came out that Arzaylea cheated on Luke Hemmings when a former friend of her revealed that she slept with John Waugh of the 1975 band twice.
The revelation was made by the supposedly former friend of Arzaylea via Twitter using the handle @babequality.
In addition to the sleeping with John Waugh claim, @babequality claimed that Arzaylea once drank, smoke, and took cocaine on the same night. She also added that the rumors of Arzaylea trying to kiss Michael Clifford were true while the band was in Bali, Indonesia, details the Hollywood Take.
By some kind of coincidence, the cheating claims on Arzaylea also came out after rumors of Luke Hemmings cheating on his girlfriend were released online.
In fact, supposed naked photos of the 5SOS lead vocalist went viral in the past week and many were of the assumption that it was Luke who leaked them online.
Immune from the rumors
With the sighting of Luke and Arzalyea in Toronto, Canada early this week, it seems that the pair is not bothered at all by the cheating rumors thrown on each other and consider those as attempts of some people to tear them apart.
It appears that they have survived yet again another onslaught of malicious cheating rumors so it only makes their relationship stronger than before.
Of the two, however, it is Arzaylea who has been the subject of many controversies following the admission of Luke Hemmings in an interview late last year that they are dating.
Some have accused her of faking the relationship with Luke for media mileage to herself because she is known online as a publicity hog. She was also accused as the main reason why the lead vocalist of 5SOS came late before a show in Tokyo, Japan a few months ago.
She was also criticized heavily for jumping into a fan’s photo with Hemmings. But she seems to be taking all those criticisms in strides and says that 5SOS fans have no reason to hate her.
In an interview, she said that Luke’s fans wanted her to be a really horrible person which she is not. She explained that she is just a normal person who just happens to date someone not so normal.
When they were spotted early this week in Toronto, it has become clear that Arzaylea is still happy enough to be following Luke Hemmings and the 5SOS around the world as they perform.
In fairness to Luke, he has also gone out of his way to defend his girlfriend to the point of criticizing some of his fans for making his girlfriend really feel bad.
He had made it clear to them that he is tired of the negativity surrounding his relationship with Arzaylea, and even went on to message a fan and telling her to remove hate from herself. He also tweeted about how people need to relax, details The Inquisitr.
