Whether their haters believe it or not, 5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS) frontman Luke Hemmings and his girlfriend Arzaylea marked their first anniversary as a couple late last month, just in time for Halloween.
The pair decided to attend a Halloween party in California and they both dressed up as famous characters from the popular film franchise of Disney, “Toy Story,” reports Just Jared.
Luke Hemmings came in as Buzz Lightyear while Arzaylea dressed as Jessie the Cowgirl. Those who know the film franchise could relate to the fact that in “Toy Story 2,” Buzz Lightyear and Jessie ended up as a couple after Buzz rescued her from the Prospector.
The couple is more open now about their relationship and is very unmindful of the hate that they are receiving on social media, particularly Arzaylea.
Instead of responding or even bothering to explain to haters the status of their relationship, the pair has decided to just ignore their haters by continuously hanging out together, which all the more get the ire of the very same haters, reports Movie News Guide.
How it all began
The couple started dating in August 2015 though it was under the radar back then since there was some sort of gentlemen’s agreement among the members of 5SOS that they would remain single for the rest of the year.
Apparently, Arzaylea cannot get hold of herself for snatching the affection of the frontman of 5SOS that she confirmed their relationship on social media three months later by posting an image of them kissing each other.
That sparked various speculations and rumors and even ire on Arzaylea because some fans felt that she is brandishing her conquest of Luke Hemmings on social media.
It was in December last year, during an interview with Rolling Stone magazine that Luke Hemmings admitted that he and Arzaylea are indeed a couple.
Despite the admission of their idol, some fans still felt that Arzaylea took Luke Hemmings away from them because she has been tagging along with him and 5SOS during their concert tours around the world.
Luke Hemmings has been aloof and hardly spend time with his fans whenever Arzaylea is around that is why fans do not appreciate her having always at his side.
Spending the Halloween weekend together
In related news, Luke Hemmings and his girlfriend Arzaylea have spent the Halloween 2016 weekend together and they seemed to have a blast that the 19-year-old singer may have already forgotten his former girlfriend Aleisha McDonald.
The couple decided to do a Halloween dress up where Arzaylea showcased her beauty and Luke decided to hide his presence in a mask made famous by the “Scream” movie franchise.
After declaring on Instagram recently that they are very much in love, their Halloween get-up only reflected the intensity of their love, note many critics.
A few days before Halloween 2016 weekend, Arzaylea has been posting sweet messages about Luke Hemmings. In one of her posts, she said that they will always be best friends. He also wrote that she loves Luke to the end and back.
In another of her posts, Arzaylea said that she is in love with Luke and that she is not in the business of denying herself the simple pleasure of saying true things.
She went on to say that she is in love with Luke, and she knows that love is just a shout into the void, and that oblivion is inevitable, and that everyone is doomed and that there will come a day when all their labor has been returned to dust. She said that she knows the sun will swallow the only earth that people will ever have, ending it by saying that she is in love with her boyfriend.
Critics felt that it was a hefty declaration of love and it seemed that Arzaylea was already love-struck with Luke.
