For a couple of weeks last month when Australian pop rock band 5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS) had that much-needed break from their grueling “Sounds Live, Feels Live” world concert tour, lead vocalist Luke Hemmings and his girlfriend Arzaylea were reportedly enjoying some quality time together.
5SOS continues the North American leg of their tour today, beginning at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mount View, California.
Including tonight’s performance, they shall have five tour dates in California before moving to the Ak-Chin Pavilion in Phoenix, Arizona on September 10.
There have been reports early last month that it would be during the break in the band’s concert tour that Luke and Arzaylea shall publicly announce the state of their relationship. But fans of Luke Hemmings and most of those of 5SOS are no longer interested in knowing.
Most of them have come to the realization that their idol may have been really smitten by Arzaylea that they have no other choice but to support his decision regardless of their hatred for the self-proclaimed social media influencer.
Not a gold digger or a publicity hog
A good number of fans of Luke Hemmings have accused his girlfriend Arzaylea of being a gold digger and a publicity hog.
Apparently, they believe that she is a thorn not just in the side of Luke but also the entire 5SOS band and she has been with the young pop rock group since last year, or about the time when she and Luke started dating.
Contrary to the allegations of fans, the relationship of Luke and Arzaylea was not borne overnight or was not a product of a popular singer being snagged by a fame-hungry fan. It turns out that the two of them met during the 18th birthday celebration of Kylie Jenner, the youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, last year.
It turns out that Arzaylea is a Puerto Rican who is now based in Texas. Her family seems to be well-off too and they have been in the music industry for a good number of years even before she and Luke met last year.
Accordingly, Arzaylea’s father is a business partner of rapper Tyga, the boyfriend of Kylie Jenner, which is why she was at the birthday party of the youngest member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan of the popular “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” reality show, notes Chatt Sports Net.
Thus, it is now becoming clear that it was not Arzaylea who forced himself into Luke but it was actually Luke who got smitten by the Puerto Rican beauty.
In fact, immediately after their first meeting during Kylie Jenner’s birthday party, Luke reportedly followed Arzaylea on social media where he eventually made his overtures and infatuation towards the lady known.
They have been dating since September last year but it was only in December 2016 that Luke admitted during an interview with Rolling Stones magazine that they are officially a couple.
Defending his paramour
Amid the social media brickbats that Arzaylea has been getting, Luke has made it a goal to defend his paramour from haters.
Unlike last year when Luke seemed very elusive and not comfortable being seen with Arzaylea, fans have noticed that he does not mind being seen with his girlfriend in public wherever they are in the world.
Luke is also hoping that now that he has openly expressed her support, affection, and love to Arzyalea, he hopes that the cyber-bullying of some fans on Arzaylea shall also end soon.
Critics believe that there is nothing wrong with Luke dating Arzaylea but the problem actually emanates from the fact that Arzaylea has also made it her habit to tail along Luke and 5SOS wherever they are in the world.
