Luke Hemmings and 5SOS Surprised But Happy to Meet Their Mini Versions in Japan, More Details!

Indicative of the popularity of the Australian pop rock band 5 Seconds of Summer in Japan, Luke Hemmings and company were surprised but happy to find out that they have a mini version in the Land of the Rising Sun.

Since the middle of February until the 23rd, the 5SOS started the Asian leg of their “Sounds Live Feels Live” world concert tour in support of their second album titled “Sounds Good Feels Good.”

On February 27, they performed at the Shanghai Grand Stage in Shanghai, China before moving to the Xinzhuang Stadium in Taipei, Taiwan some two days later for their one-day gig in the country.

They are set to perform one day each in the first half of March in other Asian countries including Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong and the Philippines, details the Australia Network News.

From Asia, they will head out to Europe, the United Kingdom, North America, Central America, before ending it in Australia. It would be a stretch of almost eight months.

Cute Japanese quartet

While in Japan starting in the middle of February, Luke Hemmings and his bandmates were surprised but glad to officially meet up with their mini version.

The band members were excited to see the cute Japanese quartet taking the stage and performing 5SOS’ most popular track “She’s Kinda Hot.”

The Mini 5SOS has their versions of Luke Hemmings, Ashton Irwin, Calum Hood, and Michael Clifford and during their performance at the 5SOS concert, the crowd was cheering the little kids, details the Day Herald.

In a subsequent interview following one of their initial concerts in Japan, 5SOS said that they had a lot of fun watching their younger version perform. They also acknowledged how popular they have become in the country considering that even young kids imitate them which truly makes them proud.

Causing problems in the tour

Incidentally, while the initial reports seem to suggest that Arzaylea, the girlfriend of Luke Hemmings, will not be joining the band on the Asian and European legs of their tour, it seems that the social media influencer pulled another surprise.

Apparently she showed up in Japan all of a sudden, which was one of the reasons why Luke Hemmings showed up 10 minutes late during one of the band’s concert rehearsals in the country.

That has reportedly caused problems with the boys but Luke refuses to say anything at the moment, lest they face a similar problem that One Direction encountered last year when during their Asian tour, Zayn Malik decided to bolt the group.

While it seems far-fetched that the same would happen to 5SOS, the other band members are just worried for their lead vocalist as the presence of Arzaylea in their concert tour will only cause them more problems later on.

Arzaylea has been sharing Snapchats and uploading photos of 5SOS’ Japan concert performances on her Instagram account which clearly indicate that she has joined the band in their Japan concert tour.

The Japanese fans who paid extra for the sound check got to see the band during their rehearsal and even got to enjoy throwing questions to the band members. But they were not happy to see Luke Hemmings showing up some 10 minutes late because apparently the lead vocalist of 5SOS was spending so much time with Arzaylea.

Tardiness is taboo in Japan and they are disappointed that the main reason that Luke was late is because of Aryzaylea.

The fans are also complaining that Arzaylea seems not keen on allowing Luke Hemmings to be close to any of his fans.

Prior to the start of 5SOS’ Asian leg of their concert tour, it has been reported that Luke Hemmings and his girlfriend Arzaylea, are likely to be apart as the group is set to go on its Asian tour until March.

Arzaylea is an American based in Texas and she became close to Luke Hemmings and 5SOS during their North American tour last year, where she practically tugged along in all of their shows in the US.
