Since the American Thanksgiving celebration on November 26, Luke Hemmings and the Australian pop rock band 5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS) has been on a performance tear in key cities of the US that began on December 1.
Based on the Twitter page of Luke Hemmings, the band’s first stop was in Dallas. After their concert in the city, Luke tweeted his gratitude to Dallas Jingle Ball and said that he hope to see them again in next year’s tour.
The following day, they were in San Francisco, California and Luke once again heaved praises to the city for having such a great crowd.
Two days later, they were in Los Angeles with their Jingle Ball performance tour before taking a five-day break as they head out to the East coast.
On December 9, they performed in Philadelphia followed by Boston on December 10, and then Chicago on December 11. And based on Luke Hemmings’ posts on Twitter, the band seems to be enjoying every minute of it as they also get to have fun in between their performances.
Still dating
Amid rumors late in November that they have broken up, Luke Hemmings and rumored girlfriend Arzaylea are still very much a couple.
The split rumors started only when Arzaylea started getting emotional on her Twitter account when Luke did not invite her to come with him and the band during the 2015 American Music Awards held on November 22.
A few days after the event, however, the two were spotted again together leaving The Nice Guy restaurant in Los Angeles.
In fact, Arzaylea also retweeted a photo confirming she was at the dinner with Luke Hemmings. A video was also published showing Luke and Arzaylea in the middle of a group exiting the restaurant together, although there were no signs of PDA between Luke and Arzaylea, details the Hollywood Take.
Critics believe that while there was no PDA between the two, the fact that they are still together a few days after their rumored split seems to indicate that they are still a couple.
And with the Jingle Ball Concert Tour of 5SOS currently ongoing in the US, it is likely that Arzaylea has been around either behind-the-scenes or just mixing it up with the crowd.
How the rumored split came to be
The rumors about the breakup of Luke Hemmings and Arzaylea actually began only on social media following what appears to be a series of emotional posts from Arzaylea on Twitter.
While there has been no confirmation from either of the two, the tweets of Arzaylea from November 22 to November 24 seem to indicate that she and Luke broke up because she feels her love is not being reciprocated.
A few days before, rumors also started swirling around that Luke and Arzaylea broke up because Arzaylea reportedly kissed Michael Clifford, the bandmate of Luke in 5SOS.
Arzaylea, later on, denied the kissing and that nothing of such happened, but she did not clarify her tweets whether she and Luke have already broken up, notes the Hollywood Take.
As for Luke Hemmings, he never confirmed right from the start that he and Arzaylea were a couple but their actions seem to indicate that they are. They were even spotted attending a concert by All-Time Low (ATL) in October and were even caught in a fan video making out and kissing.
As much as he did not talk about himself and Arzaylea dating, it is unlikely therefore that Luke will issue any statement regarding their supposed split.
Another indication that Luke and Arzaylea have already broken up is the 2015 American Music Awards held on November 22 according to some observers.
Luke Hemmings and his bandmates at 5SOS were invited to the event, but Luke did not bring along Arzaylea contrary to the times up to late in October when he always tugs her along in their concerts and other official functions.
