Love & Hip Hop: New York as just ended the sixth season after the fourth episode last week and there are plenty of places to read about the recaps and what authors thought of the show. Love & Hip Hop: New York started back in 2011 and has been somewhat popular in the “reality” television show category. The show has branched out to more cities over the years and according to the ratings, the New York edition seems to be the most popular.
Pretty much since the fourth season, Love & Hip Hop: New York has been picking up the ratings to the tune of more than 1 million viewers more each episode. As you can imagine, the show is full of drama between the actors and episode 4 was not any different. DJ Self and Cisco Rosado are a part of the show and would have had it pretty easy if they kept the professional and personal relationships separate, but that was not the case.
DJ Self found himself right in the middle of a fight at the end of episode 3 when Cardi B and Yorma were fighting over him. With that being the end of the episode, that is exactly where the last episode started. Yorma is considered the girlfriend of DJ Self. They both showed up at a birthday party together and Cardi B was at the same place. That might not have been any big deal, but she was spouting off about how she was hooking up with DJ Self.
As you can probable assume, that did not sit well with Yorma and the fighting picked up right there. The start of the fourth episode came with a few blows from each of the girls before security had to step in and break things up. In good reality television fashion, Cardi B took to the cameras to lay her side of the story out there, but the end result was both woman were upset and DJ Self was just sitting in the middle of something he might not have had anything to do with.
Reality television has always been full of drama and the more “characters” you have together, the more drama you are going to see. With that being said, the fourth episode also featured Moe Money and Sexy Lexxy meeting up only to find out that Moe is dating someone brand new. The new man, Cisco, arrives on the scene and Moe and him have dinner and then are headed to a single release party happening on the same night. The party was not going to be something without drama, of course and it all started when DJ Self walked in with a different woman.
