‘Longmire’ Season 6 Almost a Done Deal with Netflix; Viewers Confident of a Renewal Because of the Show’s Major Cliffhangers

According to reports, the producers of “Bloodline,” Sony Pictures Television, have received word from Netflix that the streaming service would no longer renew the family drama after Season 3. That’s in addition to the fact that from a total of 13 episodes, the forthcoming third season of “Bloodline” shall only have 10 episodes.

It would be a groundbreaking decision by Netflix since “Bloodline” is an original series and not picked up by the streaming service from another network.

With the sad development for “Bloodline,” there were rumors that went around saying that “Longmire” might also suffer the same fate and shall no longer have a Season 6.

However, unlike the “Bloodline” reports which have been confirmed by Netflix, the speculations on “Longmire” are merely rumors at this time.

If it’s any assurance to “Longmire,” Season 5 really had all-new and exciting episodes and it even capped off with a very intense finale.

The season focused on the emotional journey of Walt Longmire while he is battling with the villainous characters of Season 5.

But overall, the fifth season of the TV series appears to be setting up the stage for the storylines for Season 6. There was also a cliffhanger at the end of the season, with a gunshot being heard while Katie was protecting Asha.
