What seems clear at the moment is that the Season 5 premiere episode of “Longmire” shall pick up where the Season 4 finale left off featuring an intruder that seemingly cut short the intimate moment between Walt Longmire and Donna Sue Monaghan, played by Ally Walker.
According to critics, there could be two possible scenarios in the premiere episode of Season 5 of “Longmire.”
If an altercation between Longmire and the intruder ensues, it could end up Walt Longmire getting hurt or Donna Sue getting injured or killed.
It can be recalled that Longmire’s wife was killed before so seeing Donna Sue getting killed shall bring bad memories to the sheriff.
However, if both Walt and Donna Sue survived the tussle with the intruder, it may just end their supposed relationship even before it started.
But more fans of the show are actually hoping for a Walt Longmire and Vic Moriarty relationship. There are also fans who opposed the romance because of the glaring age difference.
Last month, “Longmire” got a promotional boost from the Annual Longmire Days event held in Buffalo, Wyoming.
The event gave the upcoming fifth season of “Longmire” major promotional mileage for its eventual airing on Netflix on September 23.
More importantly, it is in the event where fans of the hit TV series got the opportunity to rub elbows with the stars of the show as well as the men and women behind “Longmire.”
