Just when everybody thought that Lindsay Lohan is finally getting her acts together, her notorious behavior got her into hot waters again.
According to Radar Online, the 29-year-old actress allegedly made racial comments to a bartender and then spat on the face of a customer who tried to intervene in the commotion in a bar in New York over the weekend.
Reports say that on January 8, Lohan and her sister Ali were asked to leave the VBar in Greenwich Village in Manhattan after the two headed straight to the establishment’s bathroom without ordering any drinks and locked themselves in the toilet for more than 20 minutes.
The former Disney star and her 22-year-old sister only came out when a bartender continuously knocked on the door and asked them to leave the Manhattan establishment.
LiLo then reportedly racially abused the bartender, who was originally from West Africa.
The Daily Mail reports that other customers of the bar heard the “Mean Girls” actress shouting at the bartender in what seemed like a racist attack.
One customer said that Lohan was telling the bartender that he should just go home because he doesn’t belong in New York. But what stunned them was that she was yelling in a mock African accent.
The “Just My Luck” star even kept asking if the bartender was from Ghana which most witnesses said was really rude.
One customer tried to stop Lindsay and her sister and asked them to just leave the bar. The “Parent Trap” star then spat on the face of that customer.
The Lohan sisters left the bar after everyone inside was yelling at them to get lost, but the two allegedly tried to get back inside later on.
A fellow customer said a few minutes after, Lindsay and Ali came back with lights on their cameras and seemed like they were filming everyone inside the bar through the windows. They were even putting their faces up to the windows.
Lindsay was obviously messed up as she was slamming her hands on the windows. Security locked the doors and the sisters were prohibited from entering the bar’s premises.
But the drama didn’t end there, reports say that about 30 minutes after Lindsay and Ali left the bar, a male friend of the two reportedly came back in the bar, threatened the bartender and even allegedly stole a phone of a patron who had been recording the altercation.
Radar Online reports that Lohan’s friend saw that he was being filmed, he then grabbed the phone of a customer and ran.
He was then chased by the bar drinkers and held up until four cops showed up in the area and recovered the phone he stole.
The bartender, who didn’t want his name to be disclosed, commented that Lindsay’s behavior was disgusting.
However, he decided that he will not press charges against the actress, her sister, and her friend.
The bartender got a scratch on his arm, but what he was scared of was that he didn’t know what the end result would be especially when he was indeed a black guy in New York. Luckily, the police officers who responded understood the situation clearly.
From the posts of the “Georgia Rule” actress on her Instagram page, it appeared like she celebrated her great-grandmother’s birthday with her family in Long Island over the weekend.
Lindsay hasn’t commented on the alleged incident and representatives for her are still unavailable for comments. However, a day after the ruckus, the actress shared a photo of a Johnny Depp quote on Instagram.
Lohan, who isn’t really new to these kinds of scandals, have actually maintained a less shameful public image since last year.
