Lindsay Lohan seems to be keeping her pent up emotions about her mother Dina Lohan for so long that it somehow showed on social media through a recent post which the American actress eventually deleted.
On January 27, Lindsay Lohan posted on her Instagram account that she really feels bad that her mother is not there for her and then tagging her mom with the @dinalohan hashtag.
The post showed a black-and-white version of Lindsay’s Bitmoji dropping a phone with the text ‘We’re Done’ scrawled across the image, details Us Weekly.
But the 29-year-old “Mean Girl” actress quickly took down the post, later on the same day. However, some of her fans and Instagram followers have already screen-grabbed and shared her post to others.
Lindsay and her mother Dina have been known to have a fiery and rocky relationship in the past but have always remained close, notes People.
Sometime in 2012, police were called to Lindsay’s childhood home in Mineola in New York state after the actress was involved in an altercation with her mother.
Patching things up
But it seems that the mother and daughter tandem quickly patched things up after the incident. Since moving to London a couple of years ago, Lindsay has been working on staying out of trouble with the law.
In fact, last year, she completed her mandatory community service hours as a result of her 2012 reckless driving case.
She was quoted as saying then that she was very grateful to those at the Brooklyn Community Services, Duffield, and The Ali Forney Community Service hours.
Because of her progress last year, critics really thought that Lindsay Lohan appears to be putting her life back together again after spending it early on with numerous brushes with the law.
Her redemption began when she decided to leave the US and live in London where she got a part in David Mamet’s “Speed-The-Plow” stage play at the start of 2015.
And for the first time in eight years last year, the “Freaky Friday” actress finally completed her probation. She actually worked 35 hours of the ordered 125 hours community service by cleaning donated goods and sorting out mail.
Amid years of troubling behavior that played out right in the public’s eye, Lindsay says that she is starting on a clean slate and that after finishing her probation after eight years in and out of the courtroom, she is finally getting her fresh start.
Unhealthy relationship with parents
It seems that the absence of father figure in Lindsay Lohan’s life has taken a toll on the former child actress. She has been largely estranged from her father, Michael Lohan.
In the spring of last year, Lindsay threatened to call the cops on her mother after Dina reportedly tried to sell her daughter’s possessions.
But a few months earlier, the mother and daughter tandem banded together to sue Fox News for defamation after talk show host Sean Hannity and TV personality Michelle Fields suggested in 2014 that Lindsay and Dina did cocaine together.
A representative for Fox News said that they have already apologized to Lindsay and Dina and was surprised that they were asking money from the network one year after the fact.
The rep said that they have removed the segment from their archives altogether in February last year and also apologized on air. At that time, the rep added that the Lohans did not make any demands for money and they are surprised that they are doing so now.
While she has been claiming that she is building her life back again, it seems that Lindsay Lohan is slowly getting to her old ways again if her recent late night shenanigans are to be indications.
She was seen stumbling back sometime late last year to her plush St. Tropez yacht, with her heels in her hand in the wee hours after coming from photographer Philipe Shangti’s restaurant for a party.
