According to the recent reports, there is a reason to believe that the reason the couple has put the idea of them tying the knot on hold at present is due to the hectic schedule between Miley and Liam. Those reports suggest that both the celebrities aren’t putting much thought into their wedding at the moment.
When their engagement was first announced earlier this year, sources close to the couple said that Miley intended to marry her fiancé over the summer. However, those plans were shattered after Miley was offered the role of the mentor on NBC’s The Voice.
Cyrus hasn’t gotten cold feet, as some tabloids in recent weeks has been going on reporting. According to sources close to her, she is still engaged, and a wedding is still a work in progress. At this point, however, both Miley and Liam are no longer pressuring each other to get married.
Earlier this year, just weeks after the couple’s reconciliation, following their two-year hiatus, numerous sources close to Miley Cyrus alleged that the singer was taking a new approach as far as her relationship with Liam was concerned.
The duo infamously broke up in 2013 over never-ending arguments regarding Cyrus’ crude style in the midst of promoting her album Bangerz. It was assumed at the time that Liam wasn’t keen on putting up with the new image Miley had offered to her fans because it wasn’t the lady he fell in love with.
