Leonardo DiCaprio and Rihanna have been seen a lot by many as a couple these past few weeks.
The two have not confirmed their relationship publicly but are often seen together in many celebrity events and gigs.
About two weeks ago, there was even a report that Rihanna has encouraged the 40-year-old actor to go to the gym and be in shape because the 26-year-old singer has been used to having boyfriends that are on the muscular and fit side.
Leonardo DiCaprio, on the other hand finds Rihanna incredibly hot, which the “Diamonds” singer really is.
However, several friends close to the couple say that the two celebrities are not actually dating or are not in an official relationship. The same source said that Leo and Rih-Rih are just having fun in each other’s company and both of them are not looking for a serious relationship.
Coming from failed relationships
The common denominator between the two stars is that they just came from failed relationships. DiCaprio just split from model-girlfriend Toni Garrn last year while Rihanna broke up with rapper-boyfriend Drizzy Drake late last year after an on-again off-again relationship and stormy relationship with Chris Brown the year before.
Rihanna was also recently linked to Richie Akiva, Leonardo DiCaprio’s good friend but it seems that it was not true so the media did not buy it.
However, an insider claims that Rihanna and Leonardo spent Valentine’s Day together so the two may just be playing the media and the public on the true status of their relationship.
Leo and Rih-Rih were seen partying at OAK and Up & Down, two of the most reputable hotspots in Manhattan, on February 13 and were seen again together during Paul McCartney’s secret concert in New York City on Valentine’s Day.
Pretty cozy
An eyewitness who was in the Paul McCartney concert disclosed to a US magazine after the show that Rihanna and Leonardo were pretty cozy with one another as they were actually whispering and staring into each other’s eyes like star-crossed lovers.
They never had a moment where they were far apart during the show and they stayed until the show was almost over. Rihanna and Leonardo then quietly slipped out before the concert ended in an effort obviously to avoid being seen by many people going out together.
The two celebrities have been friends from way back. The first time that the two of them were seen in public together was during a party in a Los Angeles villa back in May 2009.
Two years later, Leo and Rih-Rih were spotted again flirting with each other at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California.
Then early this year, they have been seen flirting with one another in a couple of parties in LA and that’s when rumors about their relationship started swirling.
