A lot can change by the time the console is ready for the market, but hopefully it will restore Nintendo’s position and help them stabilize themselves in an ever-changing industry. The company can definitely benefit from the boost in popularity right now.
We’re not going to get much official information about the console soon from the looks of it though, so we’ll have to wait until 2016 when it’s actually ready for release. That’s the earliest prediction that we’ve seen anyway, but we don’t know if it’s close to reality or not.
Of course, a lot can happen in the meantime, and that 2016 prediction could stretch out quite a lot. We have no idea what the current plans of the company are, but hopefully they are adjusting them to give themselves the best possible competitive edge compared to other companies.
Because, even though the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 were already released, they’re still getting support from their developers and the consoles are constantly in the public spotlight. Nintendo have a serious competitor to go up against, whether their fans realize it or not. But on the other hand, if anyone has the potential to introduce something unique and special to the market right now, it’s definitely Nintendo.
