On the contrary, the recent previews for the game seem to paint a bit of a negative picture with regards to the variety of sound effects that it will offer.
It could be just the way those trailers were edited, but it does seem like the game won’t be that rich in sounds this time. Fans of “Legend of Zelda” have gotten used to the games having a very unique soundscape, with specific cues for everything.
And now, it seems like there is a little less variety in that. Hopefully it’s just the impression we got from the trailers and this won’t be the actual state of the game when it comes out, because that would be a bit hit to its reception.
As we said above though, Nintendo know what they’re doing, and their fans have a lot of trust in the studio. They wouldn’t compromise such a crucial aspect of the game for practically no reason, and we suspect that we’re going to see much different picture once the game is out on the market.
Fans are also hopeful that the studio is going to release more previews for the game before the year is over. The holiday season is a great time to build up some hype, and Nintendo should be well aware of that at this point, so we expect them to tune in again sooner or later.
