On the bright side, experts also claim that a successful launch for this title would also have a very strong positive impact on Nintendo’s popularity. Even though the company has already lost a lot of market share for the Wii U, this release could breathe some fresh air into the console and bring at least a little interest to it.
Currently, “Breath of the Wild” is expected to come out in 2017. There are some conflicting reports about Nintendo’s exact timing plans, but hopefully they aren’t going to push it back to the end of the year, or even the second half. That would be a painful wait for most fans.
Nintendo are known for taking their time with major releases, and while this often works out in their favor, it’s also a big risk in the long run.
